From Sunday November 16 to Sunday January 4, 2026, Paris' most famous thoroughfare will be decked out in its end-of-year illuminations. Here's a look back at the inauguration with the event's godmother: actress Léa Seydoux.
A magical moment like no other! This Sunday, November 16, the inauguration of the Champs-Élysées illuminations was celebrated with a sound and light show imagined by Thierry Reboul, with lighting by Thomas Dechandon and music by Victor Le Masne. Three men who had already made their mark on Paris (and the world) thanks to the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games!
The festivities were kicked off by actress Léa Seydoux, godmother of the event, accompanied by the Champs-Élysées committee and Canadian singer Charlotte Cardin, who performed her song "Tant pis pour elle".

A show to see every day

This sound and light show, lasting 6 minutes 35 seconds, will be visible every day at 6:30 pm. The illuminations, spread over 400 trees, start at 5 p.m. and go out at midnight on weekdays and 1 a.m. on weekends. With the exception of December 24 and 31, when they will sparkle all night long!
This new edition, in keeping with previous years, promises a golden, sparkling Champs-Élysées avenue, with reduced energy consumption, 100% LED.
