Antique and Used Book Market

Founded in 1987, the Antique and Used Book Market brings together some 50 booksellers every Saturday and Sunday of the year at a historic site: a pavilion built in the 19th century in the Baltard style. Unique in Europe, this market, which runs alongside G. Brassens Park in the 15th arrondissement, has since established itself as the must-visit destination for many professionals, bibliophiles, and collectors from France and abroad, as well as readers of all kinds who love books and the written word.

Every Saturday and Sunday of the year, including holidays, rain or shine, its 380 vendors—all professionals from the Vanves Flea Market—will welcome you and showcase their finds from the week: furniture and objects from the 18th, 19th, 1900, Art Deco, and from the ’50s and ’70s; garden furniture, wrought ironwork, and tools; lighting fixtures; tableware; glassware and silverware; vintage clothing and textiles; antique and costume jewelry; cameras, phonographs, and radios; books and old papers; coins and medals; paintings, drawings, and prints; photographs and postcards; curiosities, toys, and folk art; religious objects; Asian art; African art, etc.

Montreuil Gate

This market, which has remained very traditional, has been around since 1860. Here, with a little luck, you can still find new or vintage items, clothing, and accessories for just a few euros.

To do this, you have to know how to look—to rummage through entire aisles of secondhand clothes, hardware, spare parts, and flashy trinkets… A massive jumble sale, the Porte de Montreuil flea market is a little paradise for bargain hunters.

Clothes, trinkets, small furniture, spices, books, sporting goods, tools… you can find everything here, at every price point, whether new or used. Near the Porte de Montreuil roundabout, the market begins with stalls specializing in “vintage” items. Leather jackets, ’60s shirts, military fatigues, clothing from the ’50s through the ’80s, vintage lace, hats, pre-war accessories…

Clignancourt Gate

As the leading market for fashion, antiques, and secondhand goods, the Clignancourt Flea Market is world-renowned. Spread over 3 hectares, 2,500 stalls offer antique furniture, unique items, vintage goods, and more—a delight for bargain hunters, collectors, and casual visitors alike. It is open year-round on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Mondays from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
