In Paris, most traffic lights are equipped with audible beacons that tell visually impaired people the name of the street and whether or not they can cross. To reach a wider audience, the City of Paris provides visitors with remote controls to activate these lights during the Olympic and Paralympic Games. In addition, some traffic lights are temporarily equipped with English-French bilingual beacons.
How to acquire and return a remote control?
You can pick up your remote control at one of the following locations for the duration of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
They will be returned to the same addresses. Returned remote controls will be reconditioned for reuse and reallocation.
